We are seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join a great hospital in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Duncan Regional Hospital has been serving the community for over 40 years! This is an opportunity that will balance practice and lifestyle as the doctor chooses to follow patients in the hospital or have a strictly outpatient clinic. There can be an opportunity to pick up extra shifts.



  • Employed position

  • Salary between $230k and $260k depending on experience

Internal Medicine Opening In Talihina, Oklahoma

We have an opening for a Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician with hospitalist experience in the gorgeous Talihina, Oklahoma, Just an hour drive from Ft. Smith Arkansas and only a couple hours from Oklahoma City and Tulsa Oklahoma.

Compensation & Logistics

  • $240K/YR + approx. $14,400 in bonus pay* see below

  • *Hospital week 5 days/week 7am-5:30pm with bonus pay ($1200 for 5th day, above salary, hospital week = 50 hours)

  • Optional additional pay of covering weekend in hospital at $3000 per weekend

  • Sign On Bonus – Negotiable

  • Student loan repayment options – Multiple


  • In-Patient Volume: Adult Patients only – Census 4-20 (varies widely)

  • Clinic Volume 15-22 patients per day

  • 3 weeks in outpatient clinic then one week as hospitalist

  • Office Hours 4 weekdays per week 7am-5:30pm (Clinic week = 40 hours)

  • Act as Attending Physician for our Family Medicine Residents while in hospital

License Requirements

  • No Oklahoma License needed, you may work with any state license in good standing

Worth metro area and two hours southwest of Tulsa, we are only 70 minutes southeast of Oklahoma City.  The University of Oklahoma is a one hour commute and Oklahoma State University is two hours away.  East Central University is located in the heart of Ada, offering a large variety of undergraduate degrees and several graduate programs.  There are three public education school systems in close proximity, each unique in the number of attending students.
